You are loved… and so are they

In this week’s Wednesday evening Principles and Sources class for children, we began our journey down the rainbow path and explored our first Unitarian Universalist Principle through the story The Old Turtle and the Broken Truth  by Douglas Wood.

This story helped us remember that Unitarian Universalists are called to see the beauty in all, respect all beings, and, of course, that You are loved… and so are they.

Principle: The inherent worth and dignity of everyone
Rainbow path language for children: Respect all beings

Here are some questions that we explored:

  • When are you reminded that you are loved?
  • How do you remind others that they, too, are loved?
