YoUUth SOALS – Spiritual Organizer/Activist youth-soalsLeadership Seminar for UU Youth – is an experiential program designed to engage high school youth in faith-based activism, congregational organizing, & grassroots justice work.

The focus this year will be on racial justice as a lens for an array of issues and organizing.

The group meets once a month to look deeply at how UU faith calls us to work for justice, and to develop skills for doing this work effectively and accountably.   Youth across the state can take part through video-conferencing.

muusjaMeeting dates are Nov. 12th, Dec. 10th, Jan. 21st, Feb. 18 (TBC), Mar. 18th, and Apr. 22nd.  YoUUth SOALS is a project of MUUSJA – the Midwest Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Alliance.
