Twenty youth and seven adults raised $974 for Doctors Without Borders, our spring service trip, and the 2018 Boston Bound trip.
A senior helped us write a covenant – not just a list of rules, but a positive statement of what we wanted to be for one another. Our minister, Victoria, stopped by to wish us well.
During worship, we stepped outside briefly to stand under the stars. “If you are quiet enough, you can hear the snow falling,” one of the youth said. “When things get hectic, remember this to calm yourself.”
The quiet was broken by raucous games and lots of laughter. Additional youth and parents helped with sales on Sunday. We received encouragement from our warm and supportive congregation. Thank you, everyone. Here are more pictures:
