You may remember a few years ago when Sara and I joined a strong goup of UUs on a pilgrimage to Selma, Alabama, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday and the march for voting rights from Selma to Montgomery.
This week I am traveling on a civil rights-based bus tour of the South to visit, talk with, and learn from activists, organizers, and other local powerhouses.
Our first stop is Ferguson, Missouri, where tensions between activists and the police collided following the police murder of Michael Brown.
Check back all week for updates, info, and reflections!
